The formation of 515 Squadron took place October 6, 1949 under the sponsorship of the United Church Schools in St.
John's, Newfoundland. At that time the squadron was known as 515 Atlantic Squadron. This sponsorship continued
until 1951 when the squadron was renamed 515 Kiwanis Squadron to reflect their sponsorship by the Kiwanis of St. John's.
In 1966, 150 Wing, Air Force Association of Canada assumed the role of sponsor, and the name was changed to it's
current 515 North Atlantic Squadron.
The Squadran parades Wednesday nights 1845 to 2100 and Saturdays 1000 to 1200 at Building 312, Pleasantville, St. John’s, NL.
All new recruits between 12 & 18 years of age are welcome.
