December was a very busy month seeing the club facilities used to the
maximum. Office parties; dart league dinner/dances; member's
children's Christmas party (complete with Santa) were just some of the
many festive occasions leading up to Christmas day.
|
|
We were pleased to have Air Reserve Flight Torbay hold their Christmas
party at lunch time on 19 December. From all reports, everyone had a
great time.......so much so, plans to hold it at the Wing again next
year are already in the works.
|
|
Wing sponsored events were all well attended with the Wing Cocktail
Party, and "Rendezvous 2003" on new year's eve being the highlights.
|
|
Now......a new year has begun. Every effort will be made to provide a
social program that will have a "little bit of everything" and cover a
wide variety of events to ensure an attractive and enjoyable events
calendar for the winter period. Our aim is to provide the membership
with the kind of entertainment you want and enjoy - so - your ideas
and suggestions are important and always welcome!

A special" thanks" to all the members who pitched in so willingly over
the past few months and made the Wing work and grow. And grow
it has......not only financially sound, but with a substantial
increase in membership over last year. It was especially gratifying
to see so many new members at the Wing Cocktail Party and to have the
opportunity to welcome them aboard socially.
