December 2006

Now that Fall has arrived we have started our usual fund raising activities
and are looking forward to an active and interesting Fall and Winter period
at the Wing. While the weather may be cool, one thing is certain; you and
your guests will always receive a warm welcome.
|
|
The Friday night Mixed Dart League is off to a great start with a full
complement of enthusiastic players. Even though many take the game very
seriously, they all take time to enjoy the game with friends.
|
|
The popular TGIF Dinners will begin on Friday, October 27th. If you plan to
attend, please let Jean know (753-8970) by the Wednesday preceding the 27th.
Your guest couple is also welcome. The Events Calendar and Special Events
Notices in this issue of the Wingspan highlight the major events and are intended to
provide you with sufficient advance notice so that you may be able to
plan your calendar accordingly.

Last year, the Armistice Dinner and Dance was a very enjoyable evening...A
COMPLETE SELL-OUT! This year’s Dinner and Dance, with Guest Speaker Dr.
David Parsons, promises to be equally as popular. We suggest you book your
tickets and make reservation early.
|
|
As you can see, the Wing Executive Council has been busy planning the
Fall and Winter social schedule.
|
|
The October Flipper/Prime Rib Fest was its usual huge success. Special
thanks to Chefs Frank Gauci, Bill Moores, John Hodder, and all who helped
in any way to create this memorable evening.
|
|
JUST A REMINDER...Please don’t leave your New Year’s Eve plans too
late. We ask that you make reservations early and pick up your tickets on
or before Friday, December 15th.
