The following is just a few comments and updates on our Fall activities.
|
|
I am pleased to report that the various Wing committees are planning & working diligently on
your behalf. The Friday night Wing Mixed Dart League Fall/Winter session has started, and there
is room for additional players. If you would like to participate and join in the fun, please
let Jean know at your earliest.
|
|
Our TGIF Dinners have now started again, thanks in large part to Past President and Chef Bill
Moores. Rentals and other activities are also looking quite positive.
|
|
In order to keep the Wing financially sound we must concentrate on generating additional
revenues, e.g. increased rentals and increased participation by all members. Your remembering to
invite family & friends to our functions will help greatly with the success of all our social events.
|
|
Also, as has been past practice, Wing members have generously donated items to our Goods Bingo. I
respectfully ask that you once again consider making a contribution towards this event. For example,
by obtaining items donated from your respective contacts - donations of salt meat, wine, vegetables,
etc., possibly a financial pledge. All will go a long way towards helping us meet our commitment to
our 515 Air Cadet Squadron.

Our Annual Armistice Dinner and Dance has proven to be a very popular event. This year it will be
held on Tuesday, November 11th. As of the writing of this report we don’t have confirmation of a
guest speaker. However, it will be someone of note!! This promises to be a very enjoyable
evening. Please pick up your tickets early and avoid any disappointment. See the Events Calendar
for details.

Also, we look forward to our New Years Eve Gala which is not far off! Let’s plan to attend and
make this a bumper year!!!
