Our Fall activities are off to a flying start!
|
|
Thanks to everyone’s support I am pleased to report that the Wing committees are working diligently and at this
writing our Flipper Dinner is sold out once again.
|
|
Participation in Friday night Wing Mixed Dart League Fall/Winter session has increased in participation with additional players. If you would
like to participate and join in the fun, please let us know at your earliest. The TGIF Dinners have now started again, many thanks
to Past President and Chef Bill Moores and our support group. Rentals and other activities are also looking quite positive as well.

In order to keep the Wing financially sound we must concentrate on generating additional revenues, e.g. increased rentals and
increased participation by all members. Your remembering to invite family & friends to our functions will help greatly
with the success of all our social events.
|
|
One of our next projects is the Fall Bingo and it has been past practice that Wing members have generously donated items
to that Goods Bingo. I respectfully ask that you once again consider making a contribution once again towards this event. For example, by
obtaining items donated from your respective contacts - donations of salt meat, wine, vegetables, etc. or possibly even a
financial pledge. All will go a long way towards helping us meet our commitment to our 515 Air Cadet Squadron.

Our Annual Armistice Dinner and Dance has proven to be a very popular event. This year it will be held on November 11th. This promises
to be a very enjoyable evening. Please pick up your tickets early and avoid any disappointment. See the Events Calendar
for details.

|
Also, we look forward to our Bake Sale and New Years Eve Gala which is not far off! With the city’s fireworks along side of us again it
should be another fine event. Plan to attend and make this a bumper year!!!
